I’ve had a really awesome opportunity placed in front of me! Along with one of my best friends Dups, I’m helping to lead a group of girls on behalf of my schools Scripture Union. I suspect it isn’t as big a deal to a lot of people! But I’ve never been on this side of the coin where I’m actually helping to lead young girls, rather than being one of the girls myself. I’m excited at the prospect of it! I want to be seen as a mother hen, a confidante, a companion! All the really cheesy, cliché things you’d expect. I’m gutted I have to miss the first session but my head is BURSTING with so many exciting ideas, I can’t even function! I hope God uses this to teach me more about myself and how I approach his Truth. I think it’ll be an enriching experience for everyone involved – and I’m praying that Dups and I can have a real impact on these girls. We aren’t much older ourselves but I suspect we have some words of wisdom, combined with Gods which could hopefully, strike a few hearts.
